Acorsonho Apartamentos Turisticos - Capelas (Sao Miguel)

I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and loved the indoor pool and sauna for relaxation. The views of the mountains were nice and added to our experience. The area was quiet and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Cooking some meals in the kitchenette was convenient for a road trip.

I had to request room cleaning a day in advance, a bit inconvenient. I also noticed that I couldn't get coffee supplies in the apartment.

The one-bedroom apartment offered excellent views of the mountains and ocean. The gym was impressively equipped, great to maintain our fitness routine . The indoor pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. I really enjoyed the garden view from our balcony.

We found the air circulation in the apartment could be improved.

It could even be a nice place, provided the staff put more care on: cleaning, repairing non working items, gardening. If so, you could forget the noisy road (north facing rooms) and other minor inconvenients.

No info on the nearabout places of interest. The room description in Booked.net is not correct (no bathrobe, no slippers, etc.)

The indoor pool and sauna were excellent for relaxation. The area is quiet, providing nice mountain and ocean views. The grounds were well maintained, with ample parking available. The staff was friendly and accommodating 🏊‍♂️

Bedrooms with good space and balcony. Nice decoration. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Nice breakfast variety.

Several cockroachs appeared in bedroom and facilities like restaurant and breakfast lounge. Bathroom not cleaned properly between costumers. Not enough bedrooms with couple size beds, most were twin beds. Jacuzzi water not cleaned properly for days.

The hotel crew was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen of the hotel is great.

The water in the indoor pool was supposed to be 29°C, but it was cold, although we complained about it. The jacuzzi was out of operation, and wasn't fixed during the whole week we were there... We had a windy, rainy weather, so we couldn't enjoy the beach at the ocean, we would have enjoyed the indoor spa facilities, but only the sauna was OK.

I appreciated how clean and accessible everything was . The indoor pool was particularly lovely, with ample space for relaxation, and the beautiful garden area was a refreshing sight every morning.

A lamp in the living room would be helpful.

Het hotel is rustig gelegen. Vooral de appartementen op de tweede verdieping aan de achterkant zijn ideaal. Rustig met een mooi uitzicht over de bergen. Verder wordt alles super schoon gehouden.

The indoor pool and spa facilities were fantastic for relaxation. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The rooms felt a bit dated, and you need to arrange cleaning a day in advance, which can be a hassle.

Hotel Vale do Navio is just next to Capelas village and a 5 min walk to the sea. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment for 4 people which was nice and comfortable and clean. The weather's wasn't great, but when it was sunny we could go the 5m to the outdoor pool and there is an indoor pool, gym and mini sauna, jacuzzi and turkish bath.

Cooking is a bit tedious as the electric rings (2 of them) take ages to heat up. No kettle is provided, so boiling water takes time. Bring all you need with you, plates, pots and pans are provided, but nothing else. Every extra on site is quite expensive, coffee was €1.95 for an espresso, nearly 4 times the regular price, but the local cafe is just round the corner and much more fun.
